Will it fit inside my MCB box?
It mounts on a DIN rail, the same rail your MCBs sit on. You only need a small free gap on the rail inside the box. Open your box and check for space before you order. It also suits DB panels, control cabinets and solar ACDB/DCDB boxes.
How does it work?

It has a heat-sensitive trigger. When the temperature inside the box gets too high, or a flame reaches it, it releases a fire-suppressing aerosol. This helps put out a small fire in that closed space. Nobody needs to press anything.

Yes. It clicks onto the rail just like an MCB. Always switch off the main supply before you open the box. If you are not sure, ask your electrician to fix it on their next visit. It takes only a minute.

No. FireGuard is an extra layer of safety inside the electrical box. Keep a regular fire extinguisher at home, use good quality MCBs and get your wiring checked from time to time.

- It works only once. After it releases, replace it with a new unit. Switch off the main supply, let the box cool down, and get an electrician to check the wiring before you turn the power back on.
